This  community-engaged course is a pursuit of the language in greater depth, focusing on interpretative, presentational and production skills within a particular thematic area. Community engagement opportunities are provided for research and writing in Spanish in addition to intercultural learning and appropriate language use in socio-pragmatic context. The course is conducted in Spanish. May be repeated for credit as long as the topic has changed. This course counts towards the Global Studies Spanish Language in Context minor.
Prerequisite: GBL 2530 Spanish IV or permission from the instructor.
