Each time it is offered, this course focuses on English-language poetry, drama, fiction, and nonfiction prose by women and examines the aesthetic, social, and historical contexts of these writings. Readings may focus narrowly on one historical period or location, or may take the form of a broader survey. This course may be repeated for credit under different topics.
