This studio course explores the printmaking processes of lithography and screenprinting. Students will deepen their understanding of lithographic printing by creating multi-layered prints while working with a variety of drawing materials. Multiple methods of screen printing are explored, including digital designs created in the Digital Arts Studio. Students will learn the skills needed to create editions, discuss aesthetic considerations, and develop a body of work. Also included are the care and presentation of original prints, evaluation of work, and good print shop practices.
