This course provides a solid background in the fundamental principles of chemistry for science majors and builds on materials and concepts introduced in General Chemistry I (CHM 1160). Subject areas include atomic and molecular structure, solutions, gases, acids and bases, buffers, oxidation-reduction reactions, reaction rates, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, and complex equilibria. This course includes an integrated laboratory that complements and reinforces the classroom. Course Fee.
