This service-learning course is a pursuit of the language in greater depth, focusing on interpretative, presentational and production skills within a particular thematic area. Community engagement opportunities are provided for research and writing in Spanish in addition to intercultural learning and appropriate language use in socio-pragmatic context. The course is conducted in Spanish. May be repeated up to three times for a maximum of 16 credits. GE: Community Engagement course.
