This course is an advanced study of outdoor adventure program management and administration. Students acquire knowledge and understanding in planning and administration related to safety and risk management in outdoor adventure programs. Specific focus on key aspects of management include staffing, fiscal management, public relations, strategic planning, liability, and risk management. Students also develop research and grant writing skills during the course. Prerequisite: Junior/senior status or permission of instructor.
