A course designed to go deeper into refining fibers construction skills and craftsmanship in the various learning pathways of student interests. Whether through weaving, felting, or stitching, or a combination of construction methods, this course explores fiber as an art practice and materials study. Projects are guided by personal interests and blend historical and contemporary inspirations of sculpture, wearables, and installation. Students should expect and plan to spend additional time working on their projects each week outside of scheduled class time. Course Fee.
