This course is an examination of the anatomy and physiology of reproductive systems of livestock. Topics include endocrinology, genetics, anatomy and physiology, puberty, parturition, and lactation of animals. Exploration of reproductive management technologies and techniques are embedded in covered topics. Physiology and management of reproduction are important for livestock producers to understand and integrate successfully into livestock herd management. Prerequisite: BIO 1160 General Biology and CHM 1160 General Chemistry I with Lab or ENS 2160 Introduction to Animal Science
